Describe the change you want

You can start with a clear target or a half-formed intention. Say what you would like to be different, and use the conversation to make that direction more concrete. Tjati can prepare a goal and supporting work for you to review.

Try: “Help me prepare for a 10K in September.” Review the proposed goal, training project and routines against your own time and circumstances before confirming the plan.

Keep the outcome beside the work

A project gathers work with an end. A task gives you something specific to do. A habit holds a practice you want to return to. Connecting them to a goal makes it easier to remember what the effort is for.

Not every goal needs every kind of item. Begin with one useful action, a note of the context, or a small routine. The structure should make progress easier to see, rather than create more work.

Revisit the direction as you learn

Use goal progress and your review to ask whether the current work still serves the outcome. You may need a different project, a smaller action or a more realistic routine.

Tjati keeps the pieces connected so you can review the plan. Choosing the direction, the pace and what to stop remains yours.
