Keep the follow-up, release the replay
After a meeting, capture your own next action while it is still clear. A specific task is easier to return to than a vague note that says “follow up”. Keep confidential work information within the tools and policies your employer permits.
Try: “Add a task to send the revised outline tomorrow.” You can capture that action without copying the whole meeting into another app.
Plan for the hours that remain
An evening with one free hour cannot hold five hours of plans. Choose what matters after work, whether that is a small step on a personal project, a routine, or having nothing else scheduled.
Keep personal goals and habits alongside errands so the urgent small things are not the only things you see. A ten-minute practice session is a valid next step.
Leave tomorrow somewhere you can find it
Before you stop working, write down the next action and any context you will need to restart. Then review what genuinely belongs to this evening. A written restart point can make it easier to put work down.
Tjati helps keep those threads connected. You decide the boundaries between work and home, and what deserves your attention on either side.
